
MavRadio’s fifth year celebrating the planet earth will explore many facets of how Nebraskans can better serve our space. On April 18, from 1 p.m.- 3 p.m., nine
reporters investigate the pros and cons of single use utensils and other items; the health benefits of drinking your milk, raw; repurposed clothing that benefits area mothers in need; Tesla technology; the legal and health risks associated with tanning beds and sprays; “Spiral Jetty” as iconic land art; Sustainability in the world’s most popular Zoo, the Henry Doorly Zoo; helping Fido live longer; and finally, what IS Earth Day and why do we celebrate it?
